Getting Started

Your First Visit

Welcome to your first visit at Gibbs Dentistry. You are now officially a part of the family. Your visit will begin at our front desk where one of our friendly staff members will ask you to fill out some forms that will allow us to get to know you and your dental history a little bit better. Once this formality is done, we can move on to the office tour where you will get to meet the rest of the staff and familiarize yourself with our state-of-the-art office. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible, and encourage you to ask questions during your entire visit.

Next, we will gather some dental records including photographs, x-rays, and/or digital scans. These records will allow Dr. Gibbs to make an accurate diagnosis of your condition. Dr. Gibbs will also perform a thorough exam, once this is completed, you will receive a consultation to discuss your goals and the treatment options that best fit your needs. If you are ready to move forward with treatment, we can usually begin the same day.

Finance/Insurance

We believe every patient should have access to the dental care they need without cost being a prohibitive factor. For this reason, we make every effort to find payment arrangements that fit within your budget. Before you select a treatment plan, you will be aware of the associated costs and treatment alternatives. We accept most major credit cards, Care Credit and we offer pay-in-full discounts.

Dental insurance coverage varies depending on specific details of your policy. Our knowledgeable insurance coordinator can help obtain pre-approval from your insurance for a scheduled procedure in order to provide you with detailed information about your out-of-pocket costs. Our insurance coordinator can also help you with the billing process if necessary.
